Children’s Republic Of Shoreditch

Commissioned by East London’s Ministry of stories (A creative writing centre for young people). I worked as a illustrator and co-designer with the design company Make:good. Together we devised and facilitated several workshops for the ‘Children’s Republic of Shoreditch pop up project. Working with a class of thirty ten year olds in Bethnal green we worked with the pupils to gather their ideas on what a children’s embassy could be. After talking, designing and model making these ideas were put into fruition by myself and make:good which resulted in a embassy being created for six weeks, using a empty shop unit on Hoxton high street.
